Location: Based in Deagon, QLD | Part-Time (30 hours per week)
About Us
Uniting Family Day Care Bramble Bayhas proudly supported families and educators across Brisbane since 1978. As a values-driven service based at the Sandgate Uniting Church complex in Deagon, we partner with passionate educators to deliver personalised, home-based education and care for children aged 0β12.
With a focus on small group ratios, flexibility, and meaningful relationships, our Family Day Care model offers children a warm, consistent environment where they truly belong. We are now seeking an experienced and inspiringFamily Day Care Coordinatorto join our team and walk alongside our network of dedicated educators.
About the Role
As a Coordinator, youβll be a key mentor, guide, and support for our educators, helping them meet compliance standards while nurturing childrenβs growth and wellbeing. This is a unique opportunity to use your early childhood expertise tolead with heart and purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
Recruiting and assessing the suitability of new educators and household members
Conducting regular home visits to monitor care environments and educator practice
Supporting educators to implement EYLF and MTOP learning frameworks
Providing leadership, supervision, training, and access to resources
Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulations
Building trusted relationships with families and the wider community
What Youβll Bring
Weβre looking for someone who is collaborative, confident, and passionate about early learning.
Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of child development, EYLF, NQF, and Education and Care Regulations
Proven experience mentoring and supporting educators to drive quality outcomes
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work both independently and within a team
Understanding of Child Protection legislation and your responsibilities
Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and compliance
Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
Current Driverβs Licence and willingness to travel
Membership to a Family Day Care professional body (desirable)
