About the role

Cashmere Village Natural Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Inclusion Support professional to join our vibrant and inclusive team. This part-time role will play a crucial part in supporting children with additional needs and ensuring they receive the personalised care and attention they require to thrive. The role is based in our learning centre located in Cashmere, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

• Provide one-on-one support and assistance to children with additional needs, helping them to actively participate in all learning activities
• Work closely with our teaching team to develop and implement individualised educational plans that cater to each child's unique strengths and requirements
• Liaise with parents, carers and external specialists to ensure a collaborative and coordinated approach to supporting each child's development
• Support the inclusion and integration of children with additional needs within the broader learning community
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our inclusive practices through feedback and innovation

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, special needs or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in a similar inclusion support role within an early learning or school environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and our teaching team
• Deep understanding of inclusive teaching principles and strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
• Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and a commitment to their wellbeing and development
