Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queenslandprovides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position AtColumba Kindergarten and Care, Charters Towers we provide long day-care for children aged 3-5 through a Queensland Government approved Kindergarten program. We offer before, after school care and vacation care for not only children that attend the school but also the greater community.

We have a rare opportunity for a passionate and creativeKindergarten Teacherto commence on afull-time fixed termbasis until December 2025. Located at Columba Catholic Kindergarten, this position will commence**as soon as practicable. ** As the Kindergarten Teacher, you will provide quality care and education that supports children’s individual developmental and educational needs within a Play Based Learning context, working in partnership with families and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Tertiary qualifications in Teaching/Early Childhood Education or working towards one
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
• The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
• Passionate and dedicated to providing the highest standard of education for our children and their families
