Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood professional ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children from birth to three years of age? Wattle Early Childhood Centre is seeking a dedicatedEarly Childhood Teacher or Lead Educatorto join our team and take on a leadership role in guiding our educators, room environments, and curriculum planning.
About the Role
We are looking for an inspiring leader who can:
Lead and mentor a team of educators, building strong and supportive relationships.
Design, implement, and evaluate high-quality programs and curricula that reflect the needs, interests, and development of children under three.
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and the wider community to foster a culture of excellence.
Create inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environments that promote each childβs sense of belonging, being, and becoming.
About You
We are seeking someone with:
ABachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or aDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with extensive experiencein leadership roles.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role within the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector.
Please note: Graduate Diplomas will not be considered for an interview unless accompanied by significant experience in early childhood education and care (3 years +), or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Strong leadership experience, proven ability to lead teams and curriculum development.
A deep understanding of child development, particularly from birth to three years.
A commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional growth.
Commitment to obtaining a Current Working With Vulnerable People registration, First Aid, and Child Protection training.
This is a full-time role and applicants must be available to work between 7.30 am and 6.15 pm.
