Nominated Supervisor – Little Genius Academy Childcare

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Little Genius Academy as the Nominated Supervisor for our Concord-based childcare centre. As the Nominated Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the centre's operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive. This is a full-time position based in Concord, NSW 2137.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the daily operations of the childcare centre, including managing staff, adhering to policies and procedures, and maintaining high standards of care 2.

Ensuring the centre complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality assurance standards 3.

Developing and implementing educational programs that promote the holistic development of children 4.

Fostering strong relationships with families, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies 5.

Providing leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the childcare team 6.

Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's operations and services

What we're looking for

1.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field 2.

Minimum Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field 3.

Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Nominated Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the childcare sector 4.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of childcare professionals 5.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and stakeholders 6.

Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and all relevant childcare regulations and legislation 7.

Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care and education 8.

Proven track record of implementing innovative educational programs and initiatives 9.

Australian work rights are required for this position 10.

Valid Working with Children Check is required before commencement
