About the Role
Big Childcare is seekingexperienced and committed Centre Managersto lead our services acrossMelbourne's North West region.
These full-time roles (38 hours/week) require you to beon-site and working in-ratio during operational hours, with additional time allocated foradministration, rostering, compliance and program planning.

Hours of Work
**Before School Care:**6:30am β 8:30am
**After School Care:**3:00pm β 6:15pm
**Vacation Care (School Holidays):**Additional shifts available
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the service
Provide direct care during before and after school sessions
Manage staffing, rostering, compliance, and program documentation
Coach and mentor team members for future leadership roles
Foster strong relationships with families, school partners, and staff
What You'll Need to Be Successful
β Qualification
ADiploma or higherin a relevant field (e.g., Children's Services, Early Childhood Education, OSHC, Youth Work, etc.)
β Checks & Certificates
Acurrent Working With Children Check (Employee)
ANational Police Checkissued within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain one)
A validFood Safety Supervisor Certificate
Completion ofChild Protection Training(or willingness to complete prior to commencement)
First Aid and CPR training
β Personal Attributes
Genuine passion for working with school-aged children
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Commitment to your team, families, and the role
Reliability, integrity, and a proactive mindset
Minimum 6-12 months of management or leadership experience
Minimum 2+ years of childcare or OSHC experience
Australian work rights are required for this position
