What you’ll be doing

Providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students before and after school and school holidays.

Planning and facilitating a range of educational and recreational activities to support the physical, social, and emotional development of children.

Assisting with the preparation and service of snacks and light meals

Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing the OSHC program

Collaborating with the OSHC Coordinator and other team members to continuously improve the program

Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required

What we’re looking for

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying), or a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education Support, or a related field

A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Knowledge of the Education and Care Services Regulations and Law

Knowledge of the My Time Our Place Framework and the National Quality Standard

Experience in delivering high-quality education and care within an Education and Care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Demonstrated ability to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities

Embraces risk play, outdoor learning, and child-led experiences

A genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of children
