Private Nanny

Hours: Approximately 8–20 hours per week, spread over 2–4 days (flexible schedule, typically between 7 AM and 6 PM, varying weekly)

Hi! We’re a warm, busy family looking for a kind, confident, and reliable Nanny/Personal Assistant to become a cherished part of our lives, starting immediately. You’ll care for our baby, occasionally our older kids, and help keep our household running smoothly. We’re seeking someone with a big heart, proven personal assisting experience, and the ability to speak clear English to communicate effectively with our family. This is a long-term role, and we’re looking for someone committed to growing with us. Flexibility is key, as hours will vary each week, and you must have your own car, a safe driving record, and your own home in Hervey Bay - settled and ready to commit to this role. If you’re passionate about childcare and organization, and ready to jump in now, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

• Provide loving, attentive care for our baby, keeping them safe, happy, and engaged in age-appropriate activities.

• Occasionally care for our older children, creating a nurturing and fun environment.

• Drive our baby safely when needed (you’ll need your own car, a valid driver’s license recognized in Australia, and a clean driving record).

• Join us on occasional work trips to assist with childcare and light logistical tasks.

• Support with personal assistant duties, such as organizing kids’ activities, scheduling appointments, managing family calendars, or preparing for outings.

• Bring a proactive, organized approach to balance childcare and personal assistant responsibilities.

Who You Are:

• You’re confident with babies and have solid childcare experience.

• You speak clear English to communicate effectively with our family.

• You’re trustworthy, dependable, and committed to a long-term role with our family.

• Highly flexible with your schedule, able to adapt to varying hours (8–20 hours per week) and days that may shift weekly.

• You have your own car, a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

• You have your own home in Hervey Bay

• Happy to provide references from past childcare and/or personal assistant roles to showcase your skills.

• Age doesn’t matter—what matters is your competence, warmth, and reliability.

• Available to start immediately

What We Offer:

• A competitive hourly rate of $40–$50/hour.

• A flexible schedule, approximately 8–20 hours per week, typically between 7 AM and 6 PM, spread over 2–4 days.

• Weekends are rarely needed, giving you time for your own life.
