Room Leader

Location: Atlantis Education Centre – Ocean Keys

Pay: $33.12 – $36.50/hr (based on qualification and experience)

Type: Permanent Part-Time | 4 days per week | Monday–Friday | Between 6:30am – 6:00pm

Located in the heart of Ocean Keys, our purpose-built Education Centre offers both Early Learning (0–5 years) and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), providing a high-quality, continuous learning journey for families.

About the Role

This permanent part-time role is ideal for an experienced educator who is confident in leading a room and passionate about working with infants. As the Room Leader in our babies room, you’ll be responsible for guiding the daily routines, implementing a developmentally appropriate program, and leading a small team of educators. You'll foster secure and nurturing relationships with both children and families, and help create a calm, engaging, and safe environment that supports each child’s growth. You’ll also ensure the room operates in line with the National Quality Framework and be supported with ongoing training and leadership development.

What You’ll Need

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Relevant experience working in an early learning setting (babies room experience preferred)

• Confidence to lead a team and guide curriculum planning

• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development principles

• A warm, proactive, and team-oriented approach

• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR & Child Protection (or willingness to obtain)
