Early Childhood Assistant Director

We are a community-based early childhood education and care service, proudly managed by a dedicated committee of parents. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivatedAssistant Directorwho is committed to achieving high-quality outcomes for children and fostering a nurturing environment.

Our Centre embraces anature-based philosophy, encouraging children to explore, discover, and learn through their natural surroundings. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Centre Director, Educational Leader, and educators to help drive our Centre towards exceeding quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven leadership experience in an early childhood setting

A passion for nature-based learning and a commitment to best practices

Experience with CCMS systems, particularlyQikkids(preferred)

A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or be working towards)

A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with the leadership team to support continuous improvement

Assisting with the development and review of Centre policies, procedures, and risk minimisation plans

Acting as theResponsible Personin the absence of the Centre Director

Supporting and mentoring educators to deliver high-quality education and care programs
