ABOUT THE ROLE
SJFS are seeking a Certificate III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our existing teams across our organisation.
Our Educators are primarily based in one centre but could be called to work across all three of our centres;St Agnesโ Early Education Centre,Joeyโs House Early Education Centre, andSt Josephโs Preschool and Long Day Care, adding to the skills base of our organisation. We encourage our teams to work together as โOne Bodyโ supporting each other when needed and sharing our skills and talents with each other. This collaborative approach enables us to enjoy ongoing learning and growth ourselves.
All three centres have a long and trusted history in providing childcare and preschool education services to the Port Macquarie Hastings area. Joining an established and supportive team, you will have the flexibility to work various shifts over the weekdays from 7:00 AM โ 17:40 PM.

WHO YOU ARE
Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or can demonstrate actively working towards your Diploma qualification
You are committed to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
NSW Working with Children Check clearance or the ability to obtain
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and families
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and how it relates to the program and development for children
Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to build positive rapport with all children, families, management and educators
Intermediate computer skills
Demonstrated commitment to providing quality early education and care
Be prepared to work across weekdays between 7.00 AM - 17:40 PM
