Job Description
Heritage House Childcare & Early Learning Centres is a 30+ year family owned and operating business looking for an experienced Educational Leader to join our Heritage House team at Castle Hill.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated individual with an Early Childhood Degree to join our team at Castle Hill. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on quality customer service delivery, the drive to develop strong relationships with families, educators and the community, have strong leadership skills, and be passionate about developing a creative learning environment for children.
About the role:
Above Ratio leadership role: mentoring, coaching and leading educators in all aspects of practice and pedagogy.
Mentor and support educators in every room, helping them grow, develop and extend in their roles.
Deliver an innovative and high-quality early childhood curriculum for children that reflects current theory, practice and the values and philosophies of Heritage House Childcare and Early Learning Centres.
Develop learning environments that spark creativity and curiosity.
Ensure compliance/administration requirements with regulations while also respecting and bringing to life our company values.
Lead the charge on child safety and foster positive learning outcomes for every child in our care.
Assist in managing the day to day operations of the service in line with company policies, procedures and targets.
Develop a positive and engaging community presence while developing community connections.
Provide leadership, support and guidance to staff and students as needed
Assist in developing a positive, cohesive work environment for all staff.
Support the Nominated Supervisor with daily tasks to ensure quality service offering.
Engage in ongoing professional development, while also leading and delivering training sessions to support and mentor the team.
Requirements:
A Bachelorβs Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Minimum 5 years experience in the same/similar role
Experience in the same/Similar role for services over 70+places
A deep commitment to childrenβs development and safety.
An ability for creating and implementing outstanding educational programs and environments.
Expertise in the EYLF and NQS frameworks.
Experiencing in implementing the child safe standards through the daily practice
First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Training.
A valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
