Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our team at our 79- place early childhood service located in Woy Woy, NSW. This is a key leadership role where you will guide and support educators to deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0) and supports the individual needs of every child.

As Educational Leader, you will play a vital role in nurturing reflective practice, fostering a culture of inquiry, and embedding continuous improvement across the service.
About the Role
As the Educational Leader, you will lead the curriculum and pedagogy across the service, working closely with the Nominated Supervisor, Assistant Director, and educator team. Youβll mentor, coach, and inspire others to engage in thoughtful, evidence-informed practice that aligns with the National Quality Standard (NQS), NSW Child Safe Standards, and your serviceβs philosophy.
You will have dedicated time to focus on your leadership responsibilities and the opportunity to shape the learning culture of the service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the development and implementation of the educational program in line with the EYLF V2.0.
Mentor and coach educators to build their confidence, knowledge, and reflective practice.
Off the floor position.
Collaborate with the leadership team to drive continuous improvement and quality outcomes across all 7 Quality Areas of the NQS.
Support the team to effectively document childrenβs learning and development.
Ensure inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practices are embedded.
Stay current with sector trends, research, and professional learning opportunities.
Build respectful relationships with children, families, and the broader community.
Contribute to curriculum audits, QIP development, and child safety initiatives.
About You
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education preferred, or Diploma-qualified with strong pedagogical leadership experience (ACECQA approved).
Current NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification.
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Proven experience in leading curriculum and guiding educator practice.
Deep understanding of the EYLF V2.0, NQF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.
Confident communicator with a strengths-based, inclusive approach to leadership.
Passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a difference.
