Childcare Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Childcare Receptionist to join our vibrant team at the Centenary Childcare & Early Education Centre in Mount Ommaney, Queensland. This full-time role is essential in supporting the seamless day-to-day operations of our reputable childcare Centre.

What you'll be doing

1.

Providing a warm and welcoming first point of contact for parents, children, and visitors 2.

Handling all administrative duties, including answering phones, managing bookings & payments, and maintaining child records 3.

Assisting with the enrolment process and orienting new families 4.

Coordinating staff schedules and attendance 5.

Supporting the leadership team with various administrative tasks 6.

Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and organised at all times

What we're looking for

1.

Previous experience in a similar customer service or administrative role, ideally within the childcare or education industry 2.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with children, families, and staff 3.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail 4.

Proficiency in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications 5.

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development 6.

A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy standards 7.

A current First Aid certificate and Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain) 8.

We would prefer you to hold a Cert 3 in childcare or Diploma in childcare, & you must have a valid paid blue card.
